They are located near the port, & nbsp; between Piazza Duomo and Castello Ursino, & nbsp; and owe their name to the nearby church of S. Maria dell’Address. The remains of this thermal complex of the late imperial age consist of a dozen rooms and although the ruins are small, they almost entirely restore the different rooms of a Roman bath. It is accessed through a rectangular room that was used as a dressing room (apodyterium) in a second rectangular room must have been the cold water tank (frigidarium), to the left of this room & nbsp; there is a trapezoidal room where it was possible to bathe in the warm waters (Tepidarium) and from here you can access the most interesting environment, the calidarium, with an octagonal plan with a dome that reaches 10 meters in height. The light enters this environment from windows placed on the dome shell placed on two orders of height. To avoid heat loss the windows are in all directions except north. Around the hot water tank there are 3 other rectangular tanks in which you can see the pillars that supported the floor and allowed the heat to pass through the cavity formed.
