AmiGO is the car and bike sharing service active in most of Sicily and from June 23, 2020 also in Catania. The service is a valid and convenient alternative to the use of your private vehicle, because it involves sharing a fleet of cars and bikes with low environmental impact, limiting the use of the car to the time strictly necessary.
These are the steps to use amiGO:
- BOOK: Access the app via web or mobile with your credentials and reserve your vehicle;
- GET YOUR VEHICLE: Approach the car and open it with your app or card;
- DEPART: Now that the car is open you can take the keys you find in the glove box, check the condition of the car and if everything is regular start your rental;
- END THE RENTAL: To end the rental park the vehicle, put the keys in the compartment where you found them and get out of the car. Check that you have closed the windows and that the vehicle is in the same condition as when you picked it up. Start the locking procedure with your app to close the vehicle and thus end your rental.
