Established in 2002 with the mission of promoting the image and development of the area through cinema, audiovisual, photography, and fostering employment in the sector for the many local professionals and workers.
The Film Commission positions itself in the city as a"one stopstation," a one-stop shop for businesses and operators. It offers a wide range of services and goods aimed at attracting productions by lowering production costs and simplifying the administrative process for obtaining authorizations, permits, and facilities.
The office is open to short/medium/long films, documentaries, television programs, commercials, music videos, photo shoots, as well as collaborations and events that promote the "culture" of audiovisuals.
