In via Etnea, at number 602, in a historic building with two elevations, there is the multimedia tactile pole with the Borges tactile museum. The museum opened in 2008 offers a sensory experience very different from traditional museums. Designed to allow visually impaired and blind people to explore the world of art through touch, through copies of famous works, both of architecture and sculpture, it allows a sensory experience out of the ordinary even for able-bodied people. In this museum, not only is it not forbidden to touch the exhibited works, but it is highly recommended. And for children (of any age) such a possibility is exciting. In addition to reproductions of sculptures and architecture, there are some bas-reliefs that reproduce in a three-dimensional version, some & nbsp; famous paintings. In addition to the museum, the tactile pole houses the braille library, the bar in the dark where you can have an "inverted" experience, & nbsp; the sensory garden, the internet braille café and the show room.
