By Municipal Council Resolution No. 45 of 05/04/2023, the City of Catania has formulated the policy direction to participate with its own program in the national campaign to promote reading ? The May of Books?, promoted by the Ministry of Culture through the Center for Books and Reading.
Once again this year, the ?May of Books? celebrates the importance of reading as a tool for each person's social and personal growth. ?The power of words?, ?Books, strong ones?, ?Strong with rhymes?, are the three strands that decline and accompany the theme that gives the 2023 edition its title: ?If you read you are strong!?. ?The May of Books of the City of Catania? will take place from April 23 to May 31, 2023, in spaces made available by the city administration and online on the communication channels of the City of Catania.
Everyone can contribute, by following the directions on the application form (see link below) indicating the interventions that you would like to be included in the program of ?The May of Books of the City of Catania 2023?
Theinauguration will be next April 23, in conjunction with UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day.
