Feast of St. Agatha 2023

Friday, Feb. 3
7:30 a.m.; 10:00 a.m: Holy Masses in the chapel of St. Agatha.
12 noon: Procession for the wax offering from the Church of St. Agatha alla Fornace to the Cathedral Basilica. Attending will be H.E. Archbishop, the Chapters of the Cathedral and Collegiate Basilicas, the Clergy, the students of the Interdiocesan Seminary of Catania and Nicosia, the school for the permanent diaconate ?Sant'Euplio? the Prefect, the Extraordinary Commissioner of the City of Catania, the President of the City Council with Councillors, the Magnificent Rector, the Pontifical Equestrian Orders, the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, the Military Authorities as well as the Banners of the City, the Metropolitan City and the University followed by the historic Senate sedans and the Cerei. Reflections dictated by some lay people involved in church movements. In the Cathedral solemn ?TE DEUM?, performed by the Duomo's Musical Chapel conducted by Maestro Giuseppe Maieli, Maestro Piero Figura at the organ.
